What Is Quran Memorization?
It is the entire process of learning the Quran by heart, also known as Quran Memorization or Hifz-e-Quran. As per the research, “Hafiz” is a word in Arabic language that refers to a person who has successfully memorized the Quran.
“Hifz” means learning or memorizing, and “Hafiz-e-Quran” refers to someone who has memorized all verses and Ayats of the Quran.
The Quran is a special gift from Allah Almighty. It holds a unique place because nothing in the entire universe, including the heavens, the earth, and all living beings, can replace its importance
Why Do We Need To Learn The Quran?
According to the Quran and the Hadith, the most profound reply to this question is:
In the Quran, Allah Almighty commands His beloved Prophet (PBUH) with these words:
“Recite the Quran in the name of your Allah who created it. Created man out of a (mere) clot of congealed blood. Recite and your Allah is the Most Generous.” (Al-Alaq 1-3)

What Are The Techniques To Memorize Quran?
Here are some special techniques that helps you to memorize quran:
⭐ First, start with Noorani Qaidah to build strong foundation for Quran memorization.
⭐ Now begin by memorizing the last Parah as they are shorter and easy to memorize.
⭐ You should keep a permanent copy of the Quran (Mushaf) with you.
⭐ First start with a few verses, then increase verses count on a daily basis.
⭐ Consistently Recite the Quran during prayers to keep memorization good.
⭐ Take guidance from a tutor/teacher who is proficient in Tajweed or with a melodious Quran recitation.

In Quran Memorization, There Are Three Key Terms:
Sabaq (New Memorization):
This means the number of verses you have to learn daily.
Sabqi (Newly Memorized Portion):
The portion of Parah that you have already memorized.
Manzil (Old Memorization):
Keep reviewing and reciting the parts of the Quran you’ve already memorized to remember them well. Regular practice is important to maintain what you’ve learned.
